A Couple of Old Dog Community Server Development Tips

I like the idea of "Old Dog Community Server Development Tips" for a series title, but I don't think it's going to happen.  I do think these two quick Everyman tips are blog-worthy, so here we are.

The first Old Dog CS Development Tip is to decrease compile time in the SDK realm.  We're not touching the source are we?  Are we?  Because we're not, there is no need to compile Big Boy every time we want to debug or compile changes to our custom project.  The VS2005 Configuration Manager checkboxes ascend to utility.

The second Old Dog tip is to use the page title to test back-end custom changes.  Quick, easy, and no special test.aspx pages that inherit from CS.Components, CS.Controls and CS.SomeApp.  Here's an example of testing custom DBVTContext and DBVTUser objects on home.aspx.  Notice the Intellisense and the CS SetTitle method to display test values.

Old Dog is going for a run now...
