Authorize.Net Payment Gateway Integration is coming in the next release of Sueetie Marketplace. Sueetie will give you two options for using Authorize.Net as your eCommerce Payment Gateway, the Authorize.Net Server Integration Method (SIM) and the Advanced Integration Method (AIM.) You can read more about those APIs at the Authorize.Net Developer Site, but simply put, with SIM, the credit card payment form and receipt are housed on the secure gateway server. With AIM, Sueetie handles the credit card entry and receipt generation. For both, all authorization and transaction processing occurs on the gateway and no customer credit card information is ever stored on a Sueetie Marketplace database.
Selecting and Configuring Authorize.Net for Server Integration Method (SIM)
We’ll save AIM for another post and only discuss using the SIM Payment Service today. To use the Server Integration Method where the credit card entry form and receipt are generated by Authorize.Net, select the appropriate Authorize.Net AIM Payment Service in Sueetie Marketplace Administration.
Once you select Authorize.Net SIM or SIM Sandbox you will enter the configuration information for the account. Some of the fields, like Receipt Return Url are pre-populated for you and you only have to change the domain address for your community site. The Payment Header and Receipt Header fields are optional and used only if you wish to stylize your Authorize.Net pages.
The Authorize.Net Payment and Receipt Pages
Here are screenshots of the Authorize.Net Payment and Receipt Pages used with Sueetie Marketplace. Notice they have been styled for Sueetie. You can style them similarly for your site using the Payment and Receipt header fields on the Sueetie Payment Services configuration form. You will also be configuring the Payment and Receipt pages on your Account Management pages at Authorize.Net, so you can display additional fields, add CCV authorization, remove the Captcha, etc.
Purchase Complete and Back to Your Marketplace
On return from Authorize.Net's Receipt Page, Sueetie Marketplace displays what was just purchased. The content area below the items purchased list is a Sueetie Content Part which you can quickly customize. Sueetie records the purchases for reporting in Sueetie Marketplace Administration. Additionally, the customer can view this and all purchases on their Member Profile "Purchases" page.
