Big Red Feztoid: Key Bank, and an LL Bean - Land's End site comparison

I'm trying to stay on top of Christmas this year and in the process am finding that I'm doing more shopping and buying online this year.  Before I get into that, however, I wanted to shoot a couple of quick bene's (as my Latin Teacher would say, “bene! bene! bene!”) to the online services of Key Bank.  My wife needed a copy of a check for reimbursement today, so I thought I'd save her a few minutes and do it for her.  I rarely visit the bank's online services area, since I can do all of my banking and account maintenance directly in Quicken.  But its nice to know my bank is on the ball in online customer services.

LL Bean is pretty big up here in Vermont, as is Land's End, I suppose, though I don't think as popular as LL Bean.  I spent time at both sites last night and found that the display of item colors, size selection and help, finding merchandise, ready customer support and general navigation functions to be superior at LL Bean.  The essential difference in my shopping experience at both sites is that I was comfortable enough at LLBean.com to purchase several Christmas presents with little effort.  Land's End?  I just couldn't feel comfortable or confident with how the product information was presented to put items in my Land's End shopping cart.  My wife buys a good bit from Land's End, but then again, she's not as picky about user interfaces as I am.

Of course, having an LL Bean credit card with free shipping, free gift wrapping, and a current special of Double Coupon Dollars helps to have a more favorable opinion of http://www.llbean.com. J
