Books for Sale

I created a new category on my Amazon Store, "Books for Sale."  I mentioned it on my previous Nordic Track Review post on Next Now, which earned a place there after about 130 pages of dry encyclopedic prose.

At some point I may have to add "Books Sold" and "Books That Got Tossed" categories to keep things fresh.  For now I added Next Now and a few other books, with more on the way.  Other books I added to get things rolling included The Unfinished Revolution, Enterprise One-to-One (which I decided I didn't want anymore half-way through my second read), and The New Renaissance: Computers and the Next Level of Civilization.  And yes, I'll be integrating my AStore into my site, something like how Scott Watersmasysk added his, when I sit down to do my CS2007 upgrade.

Here's how it works.  I can throw these books away, but I thought it would be fun to list them for sale at $5 a book to cover the cost of the mailing container and to send them at Media Mail rates to any of my cyberpals who read my blog.  I think I'll end up making about 36-cents a pop if my calculations are correct.  Email me if you want any book and we'll do the deal via PayPal.

The books are hardbacks in almost new condition and with their book covers.  The only thing is that they'll have my personal mark on them, that is, lots of notations and scribbles in the margins throughout the book I made while reading them on my [NordicTrack].  What do you expect for five bucks?  Here's a sample notated page below.

Notations & scribblings of the Dave Burke?!  Will they come with a letter of authenticity?  Years from now when people are studying your secrets to success these might be collector's items.

I actually scared my dog when I busted up reading that!  You're right, David.  I should probably charge $6 bucks a book instead of $5.  Thanks for the yucks!

BTW, interested in book suggestions?  My wife has a number of books she's interested in and it would be much cheaper to just buy them off of you at $5 after you've found they're of no interest to you. Tong
