I read each month's
Business 2.0 magazine from beginning to end. This often requires several flushes, but B2 definitely earns its extended stay in the side-by magazine rack. This month's issue--"The Smart List" cover--was particularly enjoyable, with a month-by-month breakout of the smartest business moves of 2005, plus a bonus 101 dumbest moves of 2005. Chris Taylor contributed a highly entertaining piece titled "
Imagining the Google Future" with four possible scenarios:
- Scenario 1 (Circa 2025): Google Is The Media
- Scenario 2 (Circa 2015): Google is the Internet
- Scenario 3 (Circa 2020): Google is Dead
- Scenario 4 (Circa 2105): Google is God
The article contained a fun futuristic graphic (reduced size below) that isn't available in
the online version, at least I didn't see it. Another reason to buy the magazine. If you notice the guy's electronic newspaper, it contains a banner at the top saying, "ALERT. SF, 27, in cafe, wants to meet you..." It's pretty obvious who triggered the alert, and I hope the guy doesn't need a banner alert to catch those signals.
YEEEEEEOOOOOWWWWW!!!!
