CSSBloom Feed Depresses in Large Doses

CSSBloom is a wonderful RSS Feed, but I can only view it in moderation to keep from getting depressed over the fact that my site will never look as nice as any of these beautiful sites.  Then again, I've always prescribed to the notion that graphic design is like cooking:  I'm a good cook but most everyone else's food tastes better than mine, whether it is or not.

I'm thinking more about CSS these days because it's almost time to hit the Master Pages and Skins of Community Server as CS 2.1 is almost out the door.  I'll be basing my 2.1 site on my 2.0 theme since it's a dot release, but these CSSBloom samples do inspire...and depress.

Another good feed containing CSS samples is CSSGalleries.  Funny, the CSS site that started it all is CSS Zen Garden, but its feed is totally worthless.

That's the main reason why I never upgraded my site to CS2.0: I was never satisfied with my skinning attempts. The bane of a perfectionist Wink

Hey, Thomas.  Always great hearing from you!  Ha, good one.  We still have to keep plugging away, whether it's ever good enough or not...the dissappointment of which I will experience over the next few weeks as I upgrade to CS 2.1. Smile
