- Community Server 3.0 is now Community Server 2007. Rob Howard makes the official announcement on cs.org. A bit too "Microsoft" for my tastes, but it does have a nice ring to it. And a major Community Server release once a year sounds like a plan.
- Loser-x describes his adaptation of Azeem Azeez's "White as Milk" Community Server theme as minimalist Wordpress. Available for download.
- Scott Watermasysk asks, "What else can we do for you in Community Server 2007?" Lots of good input here. My contribution was to agree with Gualha who agreed with The Wizard who echoed what Dave Lee said that an integrated calendar would be a useful addition to the CS Core.
- Rich Mercer is the latest Telligenti to move to Community Server
3.0 2007. Very nice newly created CS 2007 skin, and according to Rich, done in only 64 minutes. Rich has written other posts about his move to CS 2007 as well. - Kevin Harder is now running Community Server 2007 at kevinharder.com. His new blog Url is kevinharder.com/blog (Kevin explains.) Kevin is also now using FeedBurner to manage his RSS syndication services with its tight integration in CS 2007.
- Keyvan Nayyeri does a wonderful job capturing a slice of Community Server Time in "Community Server 2007." It's like he compressed a month of activities in a single post, and with Community Server, as you know, that's saying something. The best part (for me) was when he wrote "our great friend...Dave Burke" is no longer an evangelist. Forget the evangelist stuff. I'll keep the great friend part. You too, man!
- Keyvan Nayyeri with another of his instructive CS Developer Guides, his latest on the CS Content Component. "The Content class (which is used to store and retrieve articles in default Community Server code) lets you save your own content into the database and get it later."
- Scott Watermasysk discusses Feedburner integration in Community Server 2007 and demonstrates how "you can now not only enable your blog to be burned, but you can also easily enable their new standard statistics package."
