- Telligenti Dan Hounshell adds ads (heh he) to his RSS feeds with a new CSModule and creates a new Ad affiliate service in the process, AdBlendr.com. Great name, Dan! (AdBlendr.com currently shows a blank page if you're looking for more info.) And, uhh YEAH, we'd love for you to post the RSS ad source!
- Sean Winstead walks us through the process of employing Community Server Single Sign-On in reverse. That is, as Sean explains, to support sites who want membership to be handled by Community Server, but need their main website to determine whether the member is authenticated via User.Identity.IsAuthenticated and User.Identity.Name.
- Scott Watermasysk announces that the Telligent product team has a developer opening. If you want to work with some of the best developers on the planet, primp that resume and send it to ScottW.
- Dan Bartels with big news of unpublished photo support coming in the next CS 2.1 Service Pack and in CS2007, along with the source code changes for those who can't wait.
- Bill Bosacker creates a new feed titled CS Nuggets. Bill said he knew "Dave Burke was reading this." You're right, Bill. Your IP is 11.12.123.234! Your ISP is Comcast Cable! You are running Windows XP and using Firefox! I'm watching you! (CS Forums readers will get the joke. :-)
- Ben Tiedt comes up with "a very simple 1 to 3 column XHTML/CSS Layout with Table Behavior" using DIVs. "I'm working on some new themes for Community Server 2007 and wanted to get rid of the table-based layout used in the current default theme." I know there are guys going nuts hearing that CS2007 may no longer be using <Tables /> in its Master pages. They're out buying palm leaves this very instant to throw down under Ben's donkey.
- Whodrun4 at the New Wilmington Mission Conference site uses an ASP.NET CompareValidator as a quick-n-dirty comment spam blocker. Nice!
- Keyvan Nayyeri supersizes the Community Server Developer Guide offerings this week with a look at the Forums API.
