This 3rd of 3 posts on customizing a Sharepoint workspace will probably serve as a letdown after my initial rant and follow-up post, but I wanted to list the areas of the workspace page I modified and how I personalized the workspace appearance. Slightly.
Sorry the pic is so small and there's no enlarged version, but the site is not public.
- Graphic background on the menubar. Increased the height and bottom vert-aligned the menu links. I initially left-margin'd the menu items, but child workspace width extended beyond the screen to accommodate the "up to.." top right-hand link which has no unique class.
- Created a site image to reinforce menubar background image theme.
- Background image in the title area.
- Removed the background color for the search form, allowing the title image to fill area.
- Replaced webpart title gradiant background with an underline image, increased size of webpart title font.
- Added background image to side nav area.
