Customizing a Sharepoint workspace: The Anti-climax

This 3rd of 3 posts on customizing a Sharepoint workspace will probably serve as a letdown after my initial rant and follow-up post, but I wanted to list the areas of the workspace page I modified and how I personalized the workspace appearance. Slightly.

Sorry the pic is so small and there's no enlarged version, but the site is not public.

  1. Graphic background on the menubar.  Increased the height and bottom vert-aligned the menu links.  I initially left-margin'd the menu items, but child workspace width extended beyond the screen to accommodate the "up to.." top right-hand link which has no unique class.
  2. Created a site image to reinforce menubar background image theme.
  3. Background image in the title area.
  4. Removed the background color for the search form, allowing the title image to fill area.
  5. Replaced webpart title gradiant background with an underline image, increased size of webpart title font.
  6. Added background image to side nav area.
