DotNetNuke Hello World!

I couldn't wait for what I had planned for today: spending the day doing nothing but working through Vicenç Masanas' fabulous materials on building DotNetNuke Modules at his dnnJungle site, http://dnnjungle.vmasanas.net/

I downloaded and executed his Project Template wizard to add DNN project elements to VS.NET, grabbed the CodeSmith DNN templates, created a DNN module project, worked through his tutorial on creating a DNN module, and added the module to a DotNetNuke site.

Helloooo DotNetNuke World!  Suuuuuuuuuey!

It will get real the next time I can focus on dnn module building, which might not be for a few days since a number of task items came across the wire today.  Moving beyond Hello World will require some serious analysis of the underlying dnn logic.

I grabbed various screenshots during the day, covering assorted activities and discoveries of the process. Since I have nGallery just sitting here at dbvt.com, I thought I'd create a album specifically to chronicle DotNetNuke Hello World Day.  Its my first crude attempt at integrating .Text and nGallery.  So please follow this link to an nGallery album containing 10 screenshots and descriptions of various aspects in the first day of building a dotnetnuke module.
