Freelance Job Security. I’ve been freelancing for several years now. It doesn’t always feel like the most secure career path, yet there are many good reasons why freelancing job security tops the 9-to-5.

Exploiting Chaos. If you want to see a website that does a great job marketing a product, check out all of the buzz-wrap around the book Exploiting Chaos. The first chapter is available for download and is an enjoyable read.

Website Makeover. Copyblogger has an interesting Site Makeover Clinic series, with site problems, goals and illustrated solutions. I found the latest Clinic #19 particularly good.

Wheaties and Smart People. “Dear General Mills: Why Not Put Some Smart People on Wheaties Boxes?”  I’d love to see some of my personal favorites featured. People like George Will and Scott Guthrie come to mind. Your picks may differ.

Today’s Nordic Track Ski Prize. An even better Craigslist Nordic Track Ski opportunity for you today than last time. $25 dollars will get you a beautiful Achiever, WITH a reading rack. The book holder alone costs $30 bucks new.

Joe Wilson is your pre-existing condition. After you enjoy the 120px font fun, click on “Help run Joe Wilson out of office” where you’ll see some impressive donations going to his Democratic challenger.

The Second Circle.  Seth Godin reminds us not to get too caught up building that first circle of followers, subscribers, clients, whatever, because there’s a second circle who need to hear about us from the first circle.

Hang a forum on that blog. Good business reasons to add a forum to your website laid out in this Problogger post.  Hey, it’s easy, and everybody’s doing it.

Typing with one hand, and I mean fast. I tweeted the other day a discovery that “getstarted” can be typed with one hand.  Aaron Robinson replied with this great list of words created with the left hand.

More than your run-of-the-mill recession. Don Tapscott explains why there’s much more going on at the moment than the bursting of a real estate bubble. Bullets of Tapscott’s main points are listed with a 2:41 video that is worth watching as well.
