First Microsoft response to Roy's VS2005 RTM Hell

A good one, from a blogger at the top of my Must-Read list: Mini-Microsoft.   I thought he might have been a little rough on the Mothership, but as usual he got it pretty close.  Having read him for a long time now, I knew he was being facetious with the post title "Hey, Shareholders! VS 2005 is *Fantastic* and our Developers Love Microsoft!" Lots of good comments on both sides of the issue.

No, nothing is bug-free.  I'm sure VS2005 is just fine (as soon as I muscle up the cahonas sufficient to install it.)  Other than web project VS2005 deployment idiocy--I love Eric Wise's question "are we being punished?"--my experience with .NET 2.0 Beta 2.0 is that it's a BIG productivity booster.  I am not in the .NET Beta 3.0 camp.  Let's ship the damned RTM and let developers get to work.  We'll deal with the issues together.

Sing it Michael!

"We are the world, we are it's children,
We are the ones who make a brighter build,
so let's start coding...."
