Rob Howard presented on ASP.NET 2.0 Tips and Tricks tonight at the Vermont .NET Users Group. Great presentation, of course. I learned a lot and as a result of Rob's presentation I am darn-near eager to rip open those 2.72 gigabytes of .ISO files sitting on my hard-drive and do the Beta-to-RTM Deed. Perhaps stated more accurately, because of Rob's presentation the fear of potential problems in migrating my primary development machine from Beta 2.0 to the RTM has been lessened by the anticipation of using VS2005 exclusively.
It was so good of Rob to come all the way from Texas to Vermont, with a whistle stop in Virginia and other points along the way. A guy in Rob's position is surely under no obligation to speak to groups like ours, and I cannot see how he personally benefits from leaving his home to share his extensive knowledge with .NET developers around the country. Regardless of why he still does it, his homies in Vermont appreciate it! Thanks, Rob.
Here's a pic I took outside of Bristol last week. Rob got to see very little of Vermont during his brief visit, so I want to share some scenery.
