It’s been over a year since I lost Murphy and while I still think about him almost every day it’s time to move on. Welcome Gus, a goofy puppy who started life in a Kentucky Kill Shelter and found his way to Burlington, Vermont. We adopted him through Peaceable Kingdom Animal Rescue in New York, a program I can’t say enough good things about. We’re told Gus is part Border Collie, Labrador and Springer Spaniel. He’s smart, loving, laid-back and a great addition to the family.
One thing about Gus is that he pretty much hates taking walks. If that ever changes you’ll probably see the renewal of iPod and Dog, a series I used to write on the interesting podcasts I listened to on my daily walks with Murphy.
Those of you who follow me on Twitter have already met Gus. It dawned on me that a lot of folks who knew about Murphy did not yet know about Gus, so I needed to officially post a few pics of the little guy.
