Live Writer Beta 3 Bug

My brand new version of Live Writer Beta 3.0 is inserting the non-breaking space unicode pattern when I backspace over a former space or when I carriage-return twice.

Don't delete your copy of the Beta 2.0 Install_WLWriter.exe just yet.

I would of installed Beta 3 but there is no x64 version :-(  Beta 2 supported all architectures.

Hi, Granville.  I'll probably be removing beta 3 and reinstalling the beta 2 on my XP machines because of this bug, so don't feel bad about no x64 version. Smile Thanks for your comment.

Some what unrelated, but you obviously use some plugin for inserting code into Live Writer.  There seems to be a lot of them out there.  Before I spend hours trying each one, and suggestions?

Hey, Tim!  Here's my cutting edge code insertion process:  Copy from VS2005, paste into TextPage, copy into Live Writer, change font color. Smile I tried others over the last few years, but I like my approach best.  Sorry I couldn't make a recommendation for you.

You are much more patient and dedicated blogger then I will ever be.  To many steps for my liking, but that much more respect for you and the amount of time you must spend keeping these blogs up!

Thanks, Tim.  That's very generous to say, but really, it's a snap.  I have a shared text file on my network which makes the process really quick.  It's all the other stuff that takes time. Smile  Let me know what you decide on for code blogging.

Hey have, I went for the plug-in approach.  I found one like and with a little tweak to get the stylesheet into the blog theme works great. Blog entry is here, if you want to take a look.
