The last two times I registered for an MSDN Event online I was instructed to print out my registration barcode to display to the event host to gain entry to the event. Something very uncool about printing a barcode on a piece of paper to go to an MSDN Event on cutting edge Microsoft technology. So I refuse to print the web page...to paper, that is.
Webpage printed to PDF, then dragged to PocketPC. Done. The funny thing is they actually ask for the bar code, and last time while I was in the process of showing my PocketPC barcode to the event host he had already found me on his PocketPC by my last name.
So maybe there's hope after all. |
