I will go for a while without ordering any new books and then buy them in batch mode as I did yesterday, buying 7 books new and from various resellers at Amazon.com. These are the types of books that few people in my life appreciate, who often ridicule me for my enthusiasm in describing the book contents to them. At least I know that fellow geeks who read this blog will find these books interesting! Or not.
I took the opportunity to create a category for these books in my Amazon aStore, so you'll find more about the books listed below on my aStore if you're interested. I only recently created the aStore following ScottW's lead (who shares a similar interest in books with me, I might add, particularly in the business and marketing area.) My aStore isn't integrated into my site with an iFrame like Scott's, but I'll being doing that as part of my DBVTCS2007 upgrade. The main category on my aStore is a "Books I Love" category listing the books that I've read at least twice, ranging from Ray Kurzweil to Michael Crichton. Maybe one or two of the books coming will find their way to that list as well.
