Winter storm watch turns to warning
Published: Tuesday, February 13, 2007

An approaching winter storm is expected to dump between 12 and 20 inches of snow across the Champlain Valley and up to 2 feet across central and northern Vermont.

The National Weather Service in Burlington this morning issued a heavy snow warning that will remain in effect from 1 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday.

Snow will be heavy at times during the day on Wednesday. Blowing and drifting snow will increase Wednesday night into early Thursday morning as wind gusts increase to near 35 mph. Near blizzard conditions are expected at times, so travel will be difficult through much of Wednesday into Thursday morning, meteorologists said.

Well if whats its doing here in Cleveland is any indication, you'll get dumped on.  We're expecting 12 + in the city and probably 20 + out where I live.   It will be a fun ride home.

Stay warm my friend.

Sounds about what we're looking at here.  You mean you're not home yet????  Have a safe drive home, Dave.

We started getting some flurries here in Baltimore but I don't think we are expected to get too much.  The snow is good a change for me - a BIG change from the mild winters in Dallas.

Nope, I'll be home in a few hours.  The hospital doesn't have snow days, and I'm short vacation due to sick kids so....

Probably leave here about 2

I can't believe they closed schools here in Pittsburgh.  This is nothing compared to the Nor' Easters I lived with in Connecticut.
