Two parts of the Sunday paper I always, always read through are the Circuit City and Best Buy fliers. Today I saw an ad for a 1GB SanDisk CompactFlash card at Circuit City (for $74.99 after a $15 rebate.) Maybe younger nerds don't appreciate the significance of a GIGABYTE on a CompactFlash card, but its dazzling. And SanDisk is releasing 4GB and 8GB versions as well. They're just not available at your local Circuit City. Yet.
Yeap, these are exciting times, where the smallest things will produce the greatest change in our lives. |
