I'm a nerd and a darkroom rat, and yet I loved our family vacation in sunny Sedona, Arizona. I do feel like I betrayed my Smart Client app because I didn't think about her once, however. That was a very weird feeling for a developer like me (and I'm sure many readers of this post) who obsess on applications throughout their creation like writers on the novels they write. Part of that ability to really "get away" mentally (one of the hallmarks of a great vacation) was the successful click-once release of my app's first beta at HQ the day before I left for vacation.
