Sharepoint Beef #2 : No Folder Profile Inheritance Assignment

When a new Sharepoint folder is created it inherits the Profile settings of its parent, which is much appreciated.  But if you assign a Profile for any given folder, there is no option to pass that profile designation to the folder's child objects like there is for security settings.  You create a folder area, enter 5 subfolders plus 2 or 3 subfolders for those, and if you forgot to set profiles on the root folder prior to creating the subs, or if you need to change the area's profile or approval setting later, you're spending a lot of time manually updating folder settings.

Having the option to pass along Profile settings to child objects doesn't seem like I'm asking for advanced functionality or anything.
