I came across this Blogging Starter Checklist last night. It's good and much like other "How to Increase Blog Traffic"-esque lists I've seen and probably linked to before. But for some reason last night when finishing the checklist I thought, "I'm going to DO IT this time!" I was going to do what the post said, at least do some of the list. I was going to get a feedburner account, claim my blog at Technorati and Feedster, register at Feedblitz, get a Feedmap, register at Findory...that is, right after I finished reading through my feeds. No more than two minutes later (two minutes!) I loaded up Heather Solomon's Blog Gizmo Overload post talking about the risk of over-gadgetizing our sites. Suddenly I felt like the old man at the end of Moonstruck crying, "I'm confused!"
I was so close this time.
