Sueetie Web Package Prep: the SueetieTag Control

I'll be describing a new yet rather inconsequential Sueetie Control for you, the SueetieTag Control.  Its function is to display a Sueetie logo with "This Site Built with Sueetie…" yada-yada text in the footer.  It can also be used to display a Sueetie Logo elsewhere on the page without accompanying text.  More on that in a bit.

If the SueetieTag Control is so inconsequential, why am I writing about it?  Because it's part of the Sueetie Web Package Prep Phase underway now that Sueetie Themes are in place. I sat down tonight to address a few Package Prep issues and hit the logo control first.  I could have just as easily started typing on other items on the Preparatory TODO List, like adding a SiteMap handler, Header Metatag and Tracking Script support.  Those are three items the Sueetie Web Package will include, and probably a few other niceties along the way.  At some point you have to draw the line and cut the cord, so I appreciate the fact that the TODO List should be a short one.

The SueetieTag Control is real simple.  It has two Intellisense-enabled properties. ShowText (True/False) determines if the "This site built with…" text is displayed. The LogoFont property specifies one of the two Sueetie tag images to display "White" for use with darker footer backgrounds and "Black" for lighter-colored footers.

With the display of ShowText="True" and LogoFont="Black" being:

Time to type on something else on that Package Prep TODO List.
