This is not a philosophical treatise on writing code as the subject might suggest. Sorry. Its about getting older and breaking in a new pair of glasses. Most of my life (as I've said before and I'm sure readers can relate) is looking at a VS.NET editor window. That code has to be crystal clear, baby.
So you get older and start wearing varilux progressive noline bi- or tri-focals and still expect the code to be crystal clear. Ain't gonna happen. Just one of the ways life gets tougher as a nerd gets older.
And I went with a narrow (from top to bottom) lense, because the frames were like those worn by Michael Caine on the movie Second Hand Lions. His glasses weren't as narrow as mine. The more narrow, the smaller the sweet spot, where code is clear and life is good.
Now where's that darn submit button hiding....
