There's a new PocketPC in the family!

My wife's new Axim X30 arrived today. I held it but that's about all. Its still getting juiced up for the first time. My first impression was that it was so much lighter than my Dell X5. My wife's Axim X30 is a sweet PocketPC, alright. 624Mhz, 802.11b and bluetooth built-in. I'm very happy for her. She's been using the same Palm for at least 5 years and it finally crapped out on her, so now she'll be able to enjoy mobile life on the Windows side.

The funny thing is that since she ordered her Axim X30 a week ago, Dell came out with an entirely new line of PocketPCs, the X50. The primary new features from what I've seen in a quick spec check is 3.7" VGA screen with 480x640 resolution and Intel® 2700G multimedia accelerator with 16MB video memory. I don't care for the look of the X50, but maybe it will grow on me as I consider retiring my X5...
