Time to focus on Code Camp 4 talk

My Smart Client talk on Using IssueVision is on the Almost Agenda for this Saturday, so now seems a good time to drop everything and focus on making it interesting to me and to others who join me in the Boston Room at 1:15 on Saturday.  Fortunately I have the opportunity to focus soley on the presentation (famous last words), so it's all good.  Notes of interest along the way between now and then are forthcoming.

Speaking of an upcoming conference (which I simply don't attend very regularly), I loved Rory Blythe's post PDC snippet:

On the bright side, I had some great moments at the PDC this year. The best part of the conference was getting to see all the Geek Friends I only get to see at places like convention centers. I think I’ve known DonXML for a little over two years now, but I’ve never been to his house. It would feel strange to go to his house. For me, he’s someone who exists on a blog and at gigantic conventions.

Maybe I’m not the only one who thinks this way about it, but I feel that, when I leave a conference, all the people I leave behind are dehydrated, packed into trucks, moved to a new location, and reconstituted for the next conference. It’s kind of a comforting feeling (as long as you find the idea of people being dehydrated and reconstituted comforting, which I do).

I loved that.  "dehydrated, packed into trucks...and reconstituted for the next conference."  That kid can write!

I am still looking for a couple more presenters for the NJ CodeCamp if you are interested. Smile

Scott, always great hearing from you!  I just might get fired-up over the next few days thinking I've got a winning presentation on my hands.  If I do I'll get back to you, otherwise, you weren't missing anything anyway.  Have a good one!
