To W2K3 : getting ASP pages to work

I didn't know that ASP was turned off by default in W2K3.  There's a Web Service Extensions folder where these can be set.  Below is the default view, or at least on the W2K3 server I'm working on.

What was frustrating was the generic 404 error IIS 6.0 displayed.  I never used W2K3 so I had no clue ASP was turned off by default and that there were web service extensions.  I appreciate the security aspect of displaying a 404 error, but a little help would have been appreciated.
