Windows and VSTO Smatterings for 11-18-05

Thanks to a Mike Gunderloy Daily Grind, new Outlook VSTO goodness in the www.microsoft.com offering of Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Sample: Outlook Samples (Beta).  I'm excited about a window of VSTO opportunity sometime in the next few months and am particularly interested in adding .NET functionality to Outlook.

Wonderbar Gootentocken set of Windows Forms 2.0 offerings on the Windows Forms .NET samples page.  Includes a new version of Task Vision for 2.0, a Quicken Look and Feel sample app, Outlook 2003 Look and Feel, File Explorer Look and Feel, and an InterDev Look and Feel application.  (Got ya on that last one!  The others are legit though.)

DevConnections VPR203 Presentation materials: Return of the Smart Client – What the heck do I do now?  The dasBlonde rocks.

Steve "The Brain" Eichert points the way to a new blogger in my blogroll, Jay Fields, who presents a 4-part series on Smart Client development.  I don't know about that "Winforms Designer is Evil" stuff though, Brain.  Us guys with normal IQ's need a paycheck, too.
