Winzip Tip and Time Sucking Tasks

A beautiful Vermont September Thursday has begun.  The sun is shining, and in my home office the parakeet is singing, the goldfish is swimming, and Groove Salad tunes are streaming.  I have a few tasks to knock out for profit before I can code for pleasure, so the day's schedule is pretty well set.

Or is it?  No, it never is.  There is always something--usually at the beginning of the day--that sucks your time away until you look at the clock and it says 10:17.  This morning it was encountering a weird WinZip problem, in unzipping a DNN Module patch.  The zip contains several zips which wouldn't unzip, producing the error below.   The problem was unique to this Zip file and the module author's initial release Zipped file (which unzipped properly a month ago...) and to any machine on my office network.  The subzips extracted fine on a machine at HQ.

So the Zip Tip to get past this time sucker and get on with my day was to create an .EXE from the .ZIP.  When executing the .EXE all embedded zips were extracted and afterward could be unzipped individually.

And did I mention that the solutions to these time sucking incidents are NEVER rewarding.  Or interesting, for that matter.  Sorry.
