Illustrator find

Before my latenight geek sessions became consumed with .NET coding in one form or another I would invest time improving my Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop chops.  I use Photoshop nearly every day for mostly utility graphic stuff and Illustrator only rarely, using it for more creative elements that are often the source for Photoshop-processed web graphics.  An example of Illustrator-to-Photoshop-to-the-web is the page background color design used on each of the dbvt.com site home, nGallery, and dotText page layouts.

Anyway (coding awaits, after all), I was looking for some Illustrator source material for new Community Server page layouts I’m putting together and came across the image below.  It’s another “don’t know when I did it…or why” image, but I thought it was fun.  Not every blog post can serve the Greater Good.

A long time developer, I was an early adopter of Linux in the mid-90's for a few years until I entered corporate environments and worked with Microsoft technologies like ASP, then .NET. In 2008 I released Sueetie, an Online Community Platform built in .NET. In late 2012 I returned to my Linux roots and locked in on Java development. Much of my work is available on GitHub.
