A Better Localizer Event Log Message

I discovered a rash of exceptions in the Sueetie Event Log telling me that the Sueetie Localizer could not find a key in a resource file.

The problem was that the log message didn’t tell me the key or resource file.  Not too helpful as you can see.  As with all errors I was logging the exception message and stack trace, yet this is all I got.

This was an interesting issue because the Localizer was generating a MetaTag with nothing displaying on the page to indicate there was a problem. This has been fixed as you see below with the addition of the resource key and filename. We can think of this as the first enhancement (albeit a minor one) for v2.1.

If you Sueetie v2.0 admins look into your event log you’ll probably see the Localizer exceptions. Sorry about that. I’ll provide the updates in the next Sueetie Miniature.  For Atomo Users, to make the exceptions go away, remove the AddMetaTag() statements in /web/codefiles/pages/SueetieDefaultPage.cs.  They are being loaded in the /pages/default.aspx, so the codebehind AddMetaTag() statements are renegades.
