Sueetie Marketplace Updates: Tagging and Integrated Search

Sueetie Marketplace will be getting some love for Version 3.4 starting with two new features now online at Sueetie.com,  Product Tagging and Integrated Search.

Here’s a screenshot of Product Tags with the latest release of Gummy Bear.

Here’s the editor view, available to anyone in the “MarketplaceAdministrator” Role or specified by the tag’s “Roles” property.

Because Marketplace content is an integrated part of the Sueetie Data Core, extending search to include products was an easy job.  Here we see an example of Marketplace content retrieved in a Sueetie Search.

Finally, for site admins you’ll see that the number of products indexed is listed on the Sueetie Search’s Index results. The product is re-indexed whenever you add or update its tags, so you’re covered.

More Marketplace Love in the works, so don’t go anywhere.

A long time developer, I was an early adopter of Linux in the mid-90's for a few years until I entered corporate environments and worked with Microsoft technologies like ASP, then .NET. In 2008 I released Sueetie, an Online Community Platform built in .NET. In late 2012 I returned to my Linux roots and locked in on Java development. Much of my work is available on GitHub.
